Optimized gifs' thumnails break.

optimized (14.8kb): >>/banner/1270

unoptimized (175.9kb): >>/banner/1271

Can anything be done about it?

Anonymous 16/02/18(Thu)19:10 No. 8827

Above is with firefox.

Same problem, slight difference on Android Chome: a visible frame of the optimized gif appears in the thumbnail, but the thumbnail does not animate.

unoptimized thumbnail animates.

I'd say this to goes back as far as 2011; but I suspect it goes back to initial animated thumbnail support and don't really remember when that happened, seems like a long time ago.

It might be that the thumbnailer doesn't like when gifs have frames of different sizes or positions.

if a silly sausage puts a shorturl in the embed field, kusaba lets the post go through with a broken embed.

This is still going on.

The embed function is much improved, but still embarrasses silly sausages who try to put (short) urls in the box.

Is this a bug or a feature?

>>
Anonymous 17/10/16(Mon)18:50 No. 9700

I think, the thing to do--if there were a will to do a thing--would be to limit the 'Embed' field input to the maximum number of characters in a Youtube video code--however many characters that is.

Also, just sayin', Google Video ceased to exist in 2012.

Help with deletion Morpher4life 17/08/10(Thu)16:09 No. 9442 [Reply]

I may be in the wrong place, and if so I apologize. I need to know if there is a way to delete posts that I forgot to set a password for. Some things I have posted I have been asked to remove if possible, so any assistance would be appreciated.

The current catalog is a massive pile of shit. The images are way too small, and all you can see is an image and (for some reason) the number of replies

If it were up to me, I would have the catalog be more llike the lynxchan catalog (pic related)

>>
Anonymous 17/07/13(Thu)22:05 No. 9405

I agree with this

That's just the way a catalog is supposed to look like, unusable.

What ever happened to 7track? Anonymous 17/07/04(Tue)00:12 No. 9389 [Reply]

File 149911996282.gif - (3.30KB , 100x100 , soviet hamcake.gif )

I used 7track for a while way back around 2009, but when I went to college my dorm banned torrents and I was too busy to watch/play anything I downloaded anyway. When I came back a couple years later, my password didn't work (or maybe I had forgotten it). Now, it seems to have disappeared off the internet entirely. Does it still exist? Is it still associated with 7chan?

Alas, it no longer exists.

Is this site still active? Anonymous 17/06/04(Sun)20:19 No. 9333 [Reply]

What's the apprpximate traffic/activity ratio of this site to 4chan? Just asking.

Quality over quantity, in spades too.
