Start posting new /777/ suggestions and I'll change the board next week.
(I'll ban for /sports/)

/food/, /home/ and /sports/ are all terrible. Stop suggesting them, your post will be deleted and you'll be banned.

>Could you be referring to the not-so-recent /beards/, which went unannounced?
No, it feels like a distant memory but I seem to remember /grit/ being a board a few years ago.

>.webms are already accepted on /gif/ >>8117
Just like .gif's are accepted on boards besides /gif/. I'm talking about a board exclusively for .webm's. It's up to the admins to decide whether or not they should do it, but I think it'd be all right. Maybe they want to get more traffic in /gif/ or something. In that case splitting the board might be counter-intuitive.

1) it would be awsome if you made the site more phone friendly, I'm often browsing on phone, and its hard to get around When using that.
2) a /cooking/ board would be great, then we would be able to share recipes and I would personally make a "how ti live healthy but cheap" thread so there is some sort of benefit from browsing /c/ its good for people to learn how to cook and it would be even better if you have a chance to ask people from other countries what kind of dish they would make out of this fish you bought its inspiring.
3) maybe a /animal and care/ board , something like that, to share information about animals and prehabs care around animals, how to do this and that , I love animals and who wouldnt like to sit and browse pictures of cute animals every day?

I hope I've made some good cases for what I wish you would do, I can't wait to see what is done!

We had /kitchen/, /dog/, and /cat/ boards a while ago. Maybe two or three years, give or take. They were popular at first, but eventually they petered out and got just as slow as /banner/. The only reason we keep /banner/ around, from what I can gather, is that we're supposed to use it to get new banners for the site.

Funny thing I remember about the /kitchen/ board, too:
I posted a thread for ramen recipes. Every reply pretty much said "add an egg" as though that was the only way to prepare it. When I asked for recipes which didn't include eggs, the thread died.

It's not really related to what either of us said, I just get a chuckle every time I remember it.

/pol/ might work here if only because of the strict moderation. It's gone apeshit at 8chan, but only because "muh free speech"

I'm all about free speech, but if it means relentless shitposting, I'd rather have this place. I know the mods here wouldn't allow it to become 4chan /pol/ 2.0.

If /pol/ won't fly, why not /new/?

I'm not talking pre-/pol/ /new/ either. I'm talking about a board dedicated to news. It's got potential. After all, 7chan is so slow, any traffic is good traffic.

Is it possible to get any word on the boards recommended here or do the mods/admins think they're all shit. Or is there a backlog.

Just some update on what's happening with /777/

I'd like a /failharder/

I have approached /fail/ about the idea. /fail/13957

I don't think it matters. 7chan doesn't recognize the existence of other places, that probably includes countries. It would just end up a place for non-english speakers to not speak english or for people to post news about countries they don't live in... we can do that in /b/.

why didn't /selfhelp/ get it's own board?

have you been to /gif/ lately?

>>
Anonymous 16/12/01(Thu)07:25 No. 9106

So /gfx/ is "premium content", but it's also one of the slowest moving boards on 7chan. Which is unfortunate. I was wondering if we could broaden the scope of /gfx/. A board to inspire creation of new 7chan premium content/original content. 7chan specific memes, meta, graphics manipulation, artwork, and also encourage more discussion opposed to pure image content. This idea has been mentioned already in this thread
>>5113
>>5113
>>7330

and I wanted to bring some more attention to it.

In /gfx/ everyone adds their own unique spin to source images which is what I liked about it most.
