It's time I was honest with you about my intentions.

We've talked before about my desire to establish a cult, and my disdain for abrahamic nonsense.

My ultimate goal is to redefine the religious cannon of all semetic and otherwise deity-worshiping religions; to disrupt and undo millennia of dogma and open all the closed minds of the religious of every kind to the logical reality of the universe. Perhaps that sounds like a simple, yet futile, goal to you: that it makes absolute sense that religion is nonsense and the universe is vast; but I mean do to do this--in my own lifetime--for the purpose of literally saving the souls of all humanity, to make the majority understand that we are not alone, we are not the penultimate lifeforms, and that evolution is not through with us.

It is a great folly of humanity to presume that the sum of divine wisdom is discernible from either our physical forms or our experience in this existence. If indeed there is a metaphysical consciousness responsible for all that is, we are no closer to understanding it now with our Large Hadron Collider or CRISPR/Cas9 than we were in caves carving stones into axes. As the universe is vast beyond measure, so must be its theoretical progenitor.

The biblical account of the origin of the species is the best effort of humans living in the time, in the fertile crescent, to describe the experience they had of extra-terrestrial intervention in their evolution filtered through generations of oral tradition. A thorough reading of the semetic cannon and study of global archeological evidence for the period support that something drastic changed the course of human society in this time and not only in the middle east. That does not appear to be the advent of sentience; humans were already sentient when this occurred. It speaks volumes that we simultaneously developed agriculture and community around the globe, but it is apparent that we were left to our own devices to discover bronze and iron; that we came up with many of our base technologies ourselves, after someone helped us transition from highly-intelligent cave-dwelling hunter-gathers into "societies".

We should not be worshiping the Elohim. They were not deities. They intervened in our evolution; promoted us to social beings, but they were not our creators. We have no evidence that they were capable of any such thing. Life evolved on this planet as naturally as it evolved anywhere else. Throughout the cosmos, there are places where the conditions are right for the chemistry of life to take place. We live in a time when evidence is forthright that this is so, that even within our own solar system life has been exchanged between planets by asteroids containing microbes--and that microbes on our own world can live in the vacuum of space.

The deities of the ancient religions were not gods, but beings somewhat more evol Message too long. Click here to view the full text.

Congratulations World.

Shinji: I've got it. This is also a world.
The possiblity within me.
The me at the moment is not always the me as I am.
There are many myselves.
Yes. There must be the me who is not the Eva pilot.

Misato: Thinking so, the real world itself is not always bad.

Shinji: The real world might not always be bad.
Yet, I hate myself.

Makoto: It's your mind that conceives that the reality is bad
and hateful.

In the permanent sense, no.

>it changes when I move.
You mean when you disconnect from one (WiFi) network and then connect to another; yeah.

N3X15 17/04/11(Tue)05:57 No. 764051

Depending on how an IPv6 address is generated it can include your system's MAC address, so that part of the address could be static as you "move." So you connect to different networks, getting different addresses every time, but the part of the address that's the MAC address stays the same.

However there are multiple ways of generating IPv6 addresses and only one of them utilizes the system's MAC address.

That being said if you're in the western world the chance of you having or using an IPv6 address is very low.

The Last Letter

I feel deeply honoured and privileged to have been chosen to become a member of the Army’s “Special Assault Unit,” which embodies the glory of Japan. Having read logic and philosophy through my somewhat extended student life, I am sure that, based upon the idea of reason, triumph of liberty is inevitable to me, although I might sound like a liberalist. As stated by Croce in Italy, it is a universal truth that it is absolutely impossible to exterminate freedom, which is a fundamental human nature, and it will eventually win even though it seems to be temporarily oppressed.

It is a clear fact that authoritarian and totalitarian regimes may sporadically prosper, but they ultimately will perish. We can see the truth of that in the Axis governments. As manifested by the defeat of Italy under Fascism, not to mention Germany under Nazism, authoritarian governments are disappearing one after the other, crumbling like buildings without a foundation.

I believe that the universality of truth will eternally and permanently prove the greatness of liberty as is now being verified by reality and just as history has shown in the past. I will be more than delighted to find that my belief has been proven right even though that turns out to be a disaster for our nation. The current struggle, whatever it is, stems from ideology; and the result of a struggle can readily be predicted by the belief systems upon which the struggle is fought.

The ambition of making my beloved Japan become as mighty an empire as Great Britain has faded away. If the leading positions in Japan had been held by those who truly love Japan, my country would not have been driven into the situation it faces today. I have been dreaming of the Japanese people proud of themselves no matter where one may be in the world.

What a friend of mine once said is true: a pilot of the Special Assault Unit is merely a machine. He just steers the apparatus. He is only a molecule within a magnet that sticks fast to an enemy aircraft carrier, possessing neither personality nor emotions.

If one thinks about it rationally, this act is incomprehensible and, to try to put it in a plain expression, these pilots are, as they say, simply suicidal. Since I am nothing more than a machine, I have no right to put my case forward. However, I only wish that the Japan that I dearly love will someday be made truly great by my fellow citizens.

My grandfather, a Japanese American, fought for the US during WWII.

If he had been living in Japan at that time, would he have fought for the Japanese?

Did he fight because he happened to live there, or because it was the right thing to do?

I asked my cousin, and she replied.

I guess if Grandpa had been living in Japan at the time then he would have had to fight for the Japanese. They had a draft just like in the U.S. He didn't have a choice about being in the U.S. Army. He was drafted.

I think Grandpa wished there never was a war. I'm sure it was hard for him to fight on the U.S. side while his mom and younger brother and sister were still living in Japan. I think if he'd had a choice not to fight, he wouldn't have "fought". Grandpa was way behind the front lines though he did have to walk over the corpses of Japanese of soldiers at some point - he told me that when I was a kid - I remember how serious he looked when he said it. Grandma told me that he and some of his friends pretended to know less Japanese than they really knew so that they could spend more time at the military language school and less time working for the war effort. I think he wanted the war to end. So he did a good job to help end the war.
