Happy Valentine's Day, John. For the first time in quite some time, this time of year means more to me than just another tick on the calendar, and uninteresting as it is I figured I'd write to you about it.

I planned a date for last night. We were going to go to a fancy ramen restaurant, but chickened out at the sight of the large crowd and opted for a cheap chinese place further down the street. We spent a few extra hours in my apartment, lounging on my bed and reading a book. The night concluded with me walking her back home, and doing something entirely outside of my comfort zone--against all odds, I kissed her goodnight.

I'm a very slow-moving man romantically, and believe it or not this simple evening was a huge milestone for me. I've never broken that kissing barrier myself before, in the past I've been much more likely to be kissed than to kiss first. The future here is completely unknown, and it's a situation that enthuses me as much as it concerns me.

Online dating is cool thing. With using it you can find love partner or friend. For example, I use some dating sites too. Review I look up on https://hookupmasters.com/adult-dating-sites/snapmilfs-review/
Snapmilfs is one of the few online dating websites which assists you in ensuring you get a partner of your choice which is in your locality.

People think online dating (or rather online anything) is degenerate. How? Just because it uses computer screens? It's no different than reading personals in the paper.

for me it's the intentionality behind actively trying to make "romance" happen, that puts me off.

Lust is bad, but love is even worse.
Love causes people to smother their rosy fantasies onto their partners. People forcefully try to change their partner into somethong more "ideal".
For an emotion that is "blind", people are awfully picky about what they want in a partner. It doesn't take much for a person to be turned off. Whether it be different pop cultural tastes, different political opinion, or different social-personal approaches.
Love in practice is shallow. It's better off as an idea.
And when people break up, they hop onto a new catch. Ironically, friendship, which is "lesser" than love, is harder to replace. When people lose their best friend, it's damn near difficult to replace them.

What practical reason do current-year people have for marriage and baby making? Seriously?
We have 7 billion humans and counting, we have so many lost souls that can just simply get together and talk it out and do activities with, people get all weird and clingy when they're in love yet they lose their passion awfully quick and then start snooping around. Relationships are just shiny trinket badges used to show off that you "made it." No different than kids showing off their temporary tattoos.
Speaking of kids, people only love kids when they're "docile" and only like the old-school be that the elders grew up on.
It's ironic that "adult = mature", yet adults are so emotionally and cognitively fucked up.

Dearest John,

I regret to inform you that your post is nothing but incel philosophy.

People don't fall in love and have children because its a practical component of some Twenty Step Plan For A Pragmatic Life. They do it in response to biological urges, and plenty of couples end up faithful and happy to be raising a family together.

One would have to be very sheltered and bitter to truly believe this never happens.

With concern,
John

Who would not say anything about online dating, but this solution still helps, and of course you need to be a little more sociable in order to make such acquaintances online. For example, this page https://www.datemyage.com/dating-an-older-man/ has a great site where everything is very simple and straightforward. If I need a young girl, I will go here.

Seeing a pretty face with a shiny forehead arouses me.
Doesn't matter the gender.

Although I wish female senescence was used more for beauty.

Hello. This is a good question and I know how to help you. Pay attention to this dating site https://ladadate.com/belorusian-brides , which was created for men who want to find a bride as soon as possible. Why do I recommend Belarusian brides to you? Because they are very beautiful girls, cook well and have a passionate temperament. I was convinced of this from my own experience when I visited this country, and the site at the specified link is quite popular.

If I cared about this anymore, I'd say that online dating is the final stage in the full collapse of a culture. In just a century, USAland has gone from the retardedly medieval and rigid courting rituals left over from barbaric British cultures to the full repeal of that dead culture in the wild free love and orgies of the sexual revolution in the 1960's, to the regression back to social conservatism in the moral panics of the 1980s, a brief loosening of the noose in the 90s, only for 9/11 and a black man in the White House to swing the country back hard right to its medieval god & guns attitudes on everything. After all that, what is the end result? Looking back on the extreme barbaric lows and extreme reckless highs and figuring out a functional framework for blah blah blah? No. The tech bro's came in and sold the kids sexual freedom but delivered a fully objectified, completely dehumanized market for picking strangers out of online catalogs and using them for sex and discarding them, as a dirty little secret or some disgusting negative thing you need to hide from everyone you know. There is literally a generation of kids that think developing a deeper relationship with someone you know well and genuinely care about irl is creepy and abhorrent. The cultural rot is complete. If I cared about what happens to the US, I'd care about that and the formation of kids minds chemically addicted to the hormone spikes that social media is designed around, because it's all psychologists were talking about at our holiday party. GenZ is fucking ruined. Good thing I don't really care then I guess.

Wrong. Kids are oversold the idea of romantic love being the only way to go.
Whats being sold as creepy/abhorrent is the idea of singlehood as enjoyable and age-gap relationships.

Isn't that what you millennials are as well?

Once again. Millennials are projecting their vies onto the newer generations, like the boomers before them

He's right, though. 2020 basically made hating boomers incredibly passe, so now it's zoomers who bear the brunt of the latchkey kids' inability to adult. Sucks your parents weren't at home, but you need to get over it and stop taking it out on zoomers.

I've seen a lot of bullshit on the internet and claims that "nihilism" is a real thing that people are "pushing" and it's somehow a problem are the most pathetic cases of people desperately trying to pretend that they have a meaningful take on the world when they're actually just sticking words together at the absolute surface level (bonus points for sticking random generation names on there too). You might as well just say "badness is bad, we need to stop it", since that's the depth of your actual view without the window dressing.

That you need do some homework on.
