File Lick.swf - (7.27MB )

Hey guys, I had a few questions about the creation of flashes.

1.) How do people get the audio to sync up perfectly?

2.) How do people make those "Where the hood at" troll swfs? (Like, importing video and then editing it to play the hood song at the perfect time)

3.) How do people make the songs like in the SWF accompanying this post? I've always wanted to learn how to make them.

Thanks guys!

1) My Flash is a bit rusty, but high quality music files lined up against the Flash file tend to produce best results. .ogg and .wave could be considered, but maybe the new Flash suites can better sync up with .mp3.

2) Flash-ripping mostly. Get the original flash file, work it out to its base, and then at some point just insert the music and the graphics for most jarring, hilarious effect.

3) My guess, clever use of Vegas Pro sound editing and video fragment editing. And a good ear for music and notes, besides.

Question back. What's that anime?

Just in case another viewer comes by and sees this.

No, a lot where just copies from 2chan and similar Japanese forums. A lot of those music clips are from niconico videos converted into flash because that's was convenient for them (maybe their phones supported it??). They are mostly AMVs or funny videos people made.

Most have the know abouts to use free software to edit and convert videos on this side of the pool. It seems they have grown up and left tho

This video specifically is a YTPMV. It is made in .mp4/.avi, and then ported to being a flash. Search more on how to make YTPMVs, there are some tutorials on youtube.

Fellow YTPMV maker here.
