These don't use Electric Sheep as such since the Electric Sheep screen saver generates low resolution videos and not still images.
However, the definition files for rendering each segment of video generated by Electric Sheep are available from the electricsheep.org site. I've just written a simple script to download the definition (genome) files from each sheep in turn and render them as an image in high resolution using the flam3-render program.

To answer your question, I think it uses a fair chunk of hard disk space to hold the rendered low-resolution videos since they are MPEG2. New rendered sheep (videos) download fairly slowly over the built in p2p I've found, but the sheep pack torrents are nice and fast.
