I started planting two potato plants from cuttings and a bunch of tomato seeds. Thinking of either selling them to a farmer's market or use it to provide for myself and enjoy a good salad. In the future I'll also try planting lettuce and otger greens. Maybe I can also extend this to grain crops, but would they work with a makeshift hydroponics apparatus?

Any irrigation tips? I only have inside tap (no hose), SO is asleep when I get home and faucet is loud, so I don't water and then fall asleep. Or I forget. Can I rig up a milk jug somehow?

>>3225 "olla" method might work for plastic bottles and such. Filling up each one and putting the cap back on should last almost a week without watering.

Dedicate a patch for compost or worms as that's like steroids for the crops. Post back OP and tell us how you go!
