Since false is in quotations i assume it refers to false as in untrue and not answer B, i cannot incorrectly answer the question because i dont have the answer key, therefore my choice is A because i assume i know the correct choice.

c=nu*lambda; nu=frequency and lambda=wavelength
The unit of frequency is cycles per second and that of wavelength is a displacement. Therefore, dimensional analysis provides you with displacement per second. Also, many electric and magnetic fields travel at speeds different from the speed of light, both faster and slower. Faster ones make it out of black holes, which ones depends on the escape velocity of black holes. The question you want to ask is how can we know theoretically that the matter eaten by the black hole conducts, and well, which we know from the electric and magnetic fields that escape from it near the axis of rotation.

quantum physics is stupid. waves, quants, photons. blah blah. it doesn't make any sense. physics in this regard is a giant bloated mess full of convenient mathematical tricks, but there is actually no real understanding, because no real observation can take place at this scope.

So, I have a question regarding physics and mathematics. Between the two, which would give me more "smart sounding shit." I don't mean learning it to brag, I mean stuff like pure mathematics sounding totally abstract to normal people. I just want to be in a different world basically. Kind of like induced autism? Or like a constant high but without drugs. Pic unrelated

Physics on account of exotic entities like black holes. Astrophysics is known as an exotic hard science, as is Cosmology. They just sound cool on the lonesome there of. Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics and Chemical Physics and Subatomic Physics just sound cool also. Muons, gluons, quarks, and the like also sound good. I do not know why, probably because I know more about it, but I believe Physics has more pizzazz than mathematics.

>Bosavi woolly rat: 82cm 1.5kg
>Kimberley Mueller: 26cm 0.3kg
The Bosavi woolly rat belongs to Mallomys, not to Rattus, which is the genus the word "rat" refers to if not further specified.

>Rat (informant)
>Definition:
>one who reveals confidential information in return for money
Oh, I see. So when you say "rat", you really mean "snitch". That leaves me a bit confused as to why you'd bring up a species of non-human animal, all of which are incapable of snitching on anyone.
Also, the statement "anything that can be done to a snitch can be done to a human being" is either a) tautological, or b) undemonstrable. a) if the word "snitch" refers exclusively to humans; b) if it can also refer to non-human creatures that may capable of snitching at an unspecified point in the future.

/sci/ give me some "edgy" SSID ideas, I can have up to four or five on my WRT54Gv5 with DD-WRT. I also figured out I can up the power to about 1.6 watts, but cannot get the -o command to turn on "override" where you can set basically any Tx power. Also I can use channel 12 13 and 14 freely :)

Other than SSID ideas that are "edgy" can you think of any illegal (in the US in general or wherever) SSIDs? Just for lulz.

Amateur; Create a captive portal, fill the login page with images of hardcore scat or something equally disturbing, name the SSID something inconspicuous like "The Bensons family wifi" and leave it running unprotected. Anyone who connects in an attempt to leach your internet will be met with a wall of scat the moment they open their browser.

Computer science or electrical engineering. What should i study? What would be my job prospects in both fileds?.I live in Estonia so I`m in bad luck because we dont have a Sillicon valley here and there is very little manufacturing going on, so I guess i`d better choose something completely different(like healthcare or the army), but I really want to choose either CS or EE. I`m not chosing computer enginering because I think that it offers much less jobs than software development(especially web dev), while with EE i`m thinking that i could come in handy in a variety of places, not to mention I could just start out as a simple electrician with a degree(thus more qualified and more promising career). But i`m scared to take EE because it`s engineering and I`m afraid I will suck at it, because it`s kinda hard right? Also there are little engineering jobs here, but more front end web dev jobs(which I sincerely hate).
So please help decide my future because I do hae to make a decision fast and I dont want to fuck up my life. Thank you!

Hey, I'm ef54e2.

Would you be interested in working as a team on this? I already have a fully functional viewer and a PoC client/browser for the database, and a server. You can browse a virtual directory structure and open files with the image viewer. The server sends the file contents to the viewer through a socket (entire file resides in the client's memory; streaming is WIP) using a custom protocol.

You can take a look at the viewer code: https://github.com/Helios-vmg/Borderless
The server and browser code is private for now, but I'd be willing to share it with someone interested in working on it, of course. The client and server are written in C# (the server binary can run unmodified on both Windows and Linux) and the database is PostgreSQL.

Let me know, man. I really want to get this done, but my time is divided between my day job, real life, and other projects, so I can never find the time to work on this.

Anonymous 17/05/02(Tue)07:52 No. 16493 ID: 9e6a0a

A quadratic equation is an equation that can be rewritten into the canonical form

0 = a*x^2 + b*x + c

where a, b, and c are specific constants and x is a free variable. A quadratic equation has at most two solutions (a solution is a value of x that makes the equation true) in the real set, but it may have one or no real solutions.

Any quadratic equation in the canonical form can be solved using the quadratic formula:

-b + (+/-square_root(b^2 - 4*a*c) / (2*a))

Note: if b^2 - 4*a*c < 0, then the equation has no real solutions. If it's zero then it has a single real solution. Otherwise it has two real solutions, given by the positive and negative square root.
