I have been coming here for, I'd say about 11 months now. Everything about 7chan was absolutely perfect for me. I wouldn't have changed anything besides the color. I was happy with what I was given, and never complained one bit. Now, you come back. The majority of 7chan is completely unhappy. You've officially fucked up the entire site for me, and many, many others. /di/ and /futa/ were my favorites. I was having a conversation with one of my favorite traps, who visited frequently. Now she, along with all others, are gone. This goes without say. But I want to reinstate how foolish you are for this selfish, selfish move. If I had been come to 7chan a year ago, and it was like this, I would have hated this site more than anything. I strongly suggest that you abandon your site, and leave the people who knew what they're doing back in charge. We can appreciate bold moves that help a site out, but this is just fucking crazy. Simply put, please just leave. We don't want you back. You fucked up our fettishes. Just please, please, please leave and give us our boards back.
I agree. Even if some of them were slow boards, there was no need to delete ALL of them except the ones with the most activity. I would understand if one or two boards were almost dead, but many of the deleted boards were active. Sure, maybe some of them weren't as fast paced as /b/, but I don't think we deserved our fetishes being thrown out the window until enough people say they want it back. I personally dislike all the left over boards and have little interest in their content.

It's nice to see that Ian isn't to blame, but this decision was made contrary to the wishes of a significant chunk of this community. I, for one, fervently hope that this site is restored as quickly as possible. The poll isn't easing my worries; it feels like a Glengarry Glen Ross-type "Winner gets to exist, losers are fucking gone" type situation. If 7chan isn't restored, I'll be one of the people who won't be returning.

fuck yeah man, I enjoyed the slow boards way more then any of the fast ones. Cooking and food, fitness, cat, shota, and yaoi were my faves that where wiped. slow boards are important too damn it

Ok, for those who didn't know I posted this the first day 7chan got obliterated, I now apologize to Ian, but you must understand how easy of a mistake this was when your so frustrated with your lack of boards and just so happens you're back to take blame. But this board wasn't for others to knock /di/ or anything either. I've posted this before, and I'll have to say it again. We're all freaks compared to normal people. We all have our fetishes. My thing was mostly /d/, occasionally some /34/ and /y/ too (and a quick stroll through /zom/ occasionally). And guro, 'cause it's fun and the guro fans are normally good people (weirdly). It's definitely a shame to see 7chan considering culling its number of boards. Although some of the mods were irritating (for /d/ they'd not sticky popular threads and even deleted some, and they messed up with the briefly existent bestiality board), they weren't all, and the ones of /y/ were probably what helped make it SO much better than 4chan's. I hope most of these come back. With the exception of some mods doing irritating things, 7chan's always struck me as a well paced chan with a lot of variety.
Oh, and /men/ rocks. Huge amounts. The dickgirl (real and hentai) ones weren't my thing, but it stops them taking up so much of /d/ and to each their own. I can't imagine everyone into hermaphrodites wants to see monster rape anywho.
