Just wondering where the papercraft discussion board went?

It got gently pushed off, 7Chan only holds 8 pages of discussions so that tells you the last time it was used.
But lets bring it back without any of the rubbish, name calling and bad blood from the last.

Old thread ArcticWolf 15/03/30(Mon)09:39 No. 79645

We recieved a few new legal threats. Since my email was the only one displayed, no one else is at risk (so don't post yours!).

It was deleted for my protection, as well as the originator. Sorry.

That said, the links are all still active as neither of us controlled them. So guys? Go at it! After all the bullshit I'm going through, I no longer care "who gets hurt" and "who loses sales." I started this out as an outreach to grow a hobby and now I'm being pushed around and stressed out over trying to help... So fuck em! Do what you're gonna do!

Speaking of getting things up and running, I'd kill for the Mike Schley and Sean MacDonald maps from dnd season 2.

If I'm not mistaken, both artists have their lines posted and ready for purchase. They're glorious and great for use in other non AL games, but whatever you guys wanna do is your business ;)

REQUEST: Folks, when uploading, please make sure that the item is labeled correctly. By company and then file name or project. If you don't know what it is, please verify what it is before you send it up and label it accordingly. There shouldn't be any MISC files or collections of random files. Makes it easier on everyone in the long run.

Okay, lets get this ball rolling. Here's what I have to begin with. Most of World Works Games TLX. I set this up to be a file drop location, so as the OP has said, PLEASE make sure your uploads are clearly identified and not some mish-mash.

...GO!

Okay, there is some confusion with the file drop location, but Mediafire gave me this link:

2+terra+burned-out 15/04/15(Wed)19:16 No. 80602

Can I ask a question please?
What is the actual difference of sets that come out both as "Links" and "classical"?

>>
Anonymous 15/04/15(Wed)19:38 No. 80604

>>80602

TerrainLinx is a system in which their terrain fits together. Their other formats used either little plastic connectors or bobby-pins.

Also, Propsmaster sets, while they are considered terrain since they can impede a players progression through a room, they are not necessarily considered ONLY TerrainLinx or one of their other formats.

>>
2+terra+burned-out 15/04/15(Wed)20:52 No. 80610

So no actual need to have both types, just the Links, correct?

>>
Anonymous 15/04/15(Wed)21:04 No. 80613

>>80610
Depends, really. WWK released some sets as TLX exclusives, some not. I do know that Lair of the Dragon God was released with more than the original offering.

>>
Anonymous 15/04/18(Sat)23:56 No. 80784

>>80613
This is incorrect, the TLX version of that had less content actually since most of the original stuff "didn't fit" with their new standardised system. I.e. they cut all of the nice 7x7 tiles out, including all of the really nice detailing they had on them in favour of more 3x3 bricks.

But it will be up to someone to manage. We did have something in my opinion beating the main thread for awhile.

I have some more links, I will add in the near future. I used mega, because if you make a account, you can easy copy the entire folder to that account quickly and anyone who wants to manage it, handle new uploads can do so easily.

Additionally, I think you can copy the files, for your own personal use, quickly. so people could get the files incredibly quickly.

Wanted to have the stockpile out there for people to have, since it was taken down rather abruptly

because you found an error with a 99 cent file.

Call it your good deed for the day.

I didn't just write that it was shitty. Here, let me recap it for you:

"In general, MEGA is crappy, wobbly, and although the UI is moderately user friendly, the downloads are slow, and many of them takes 3-4 attempts before it works"

But maybe it was tl;dr at your end?

Right now, MEGA is stuck at the little wheel at the login page. Has been for two hours, tried 3 different computers and 5 different browsers. And it seems to be a general problem, going by posts at Reddit about the same thing.

I hope that wasn't too long for you to read too. If it is, get some help. :p

the game is called Four Seasons, and the games world is themed accordingly. there are four societies of elves who have adopted the identity of a season to represent each kingdom.
the game itself is turnbased and much like final fantasy tactics, but its meant to feel more like D&D.

ive been developing it for a while, but have only started to make pages for it in various places... for now, there is only bceman.tumblr.com

Well, it finally happened, Worldworks appears to be gone for good.

Did anyone manage to buy their wild west stuff? I was literally going to buy it in two days, since I didn't foresee any other way to get ahold of it in the future.

Man, that's one thing I'm super excited about the future for. I'll be able to just think up nonsense and print it out after modeling, instead of having to learn traditional sculpting and such.

I'll still have to figure out painting, but it's been clear for a while I have to learn painting...

Papercraft shopping mall? Anonymous 16/09/18(Sun)23:50 No. 110065

Does anyone have or know of a 3-d papercraft version of a shopping mall? I'm hoping to run a Hero High supers game in the future, so a mall will be a major recurring location. Even enough shops for an outdoor walking mall would work, though I'll definitely need a food court.

Thanks for the suggestion. I also found a mall set from Stoelzel's Structures (Modular Shopping Mall) that looks good on DTRPG, but I don't see it in any trove so I can give it a look before buying. But Stoelzel's 80s Arcade is exactly what I was looking for, so I'll probably get the mall anyway.
