I have been mucking around with a couple of my Spyderco knives, trying to rough-up the finish on the stainless models for grip etc.
I own Spyderco with G-10 scales, but a couple of the models caught my attention initially in the stainless- aaanyhow- anyone else experimented with their spyderco knives? pic related- it's what happened to my Police model when I felt 'artistic'...yes I know I fucked it.

i did something similar, but also ground down the side of one end to fit my hand better. worked out really well

Haven’t messed around with Spyderco knives in particular; don’t even own one.

I do have an Opinel whose (wooden) handle I carved. I can take a picture and upload later if I remember.…

i dont like spyderco knives i just dont really like the shape and the fact that most of the are just serrated edges not my kind of knife and yeah you did fuck it up pretty bad op

Have you used one? I was curious about the shape too at first but they're really nice for EDC. If a knife is partially serrated or not really really matter for EDC either.
