Dear John,

I miss the posts about cheese. I brought some none sliced cheese yesterday. Parmesan, which I actually have cheese grater for and some more Jarlsberg. Which meant to get a cheese slicer for, yet got distracted by the person I was with. Who need a tin opener and a 13 amp fuse. Funny thing they did not need the fuse. They had just accidently switch their fridge off. Anyway I digress. I'm still thinking of buying a cheese slicer. Although sliced cheese is way easier.

I know how you feel. I once ordered a sandwich from Subway and the chicken was still frozen, like they took the chicken straight from the freezer and dumped it on the bread. I mean, I know working with the public sucks but don't take it out on me.

lately I have been buying biscuits. I heat them up, cut them in half, and while still warm, split them in half. Then, I add butter, a slight dash of garlic sale, and them cover with shredded cheese (cheddar or mexican mix), put them in the air fryer a few minutes, and cheesy biscuts are quite satisfying.
I apologize if too interesting, but it is yum.

Well I defrosted my fridge, it's a small fridge with an ice box. The kind you see in 1950' and 60's tv shows.

This might seem blightful, but why are you asking 7chan instead of your grocery store? Please do bring a bottle of filtered water to the grocery store and ask if they can make bread with your water for you, and post a video of yourself doing that.

Now that you know the answer, you might consider taking up baking as a side hobby. It's not the worst thing to try even if you give it up. I've never been much for it, but I learned to cook by just jumping in and needing to figure it out and keep autistic record about recipies like bakers do, and I'm better for it.

Have you tried flatbread? You can basically mix it up in a cast iron skillet while it's coming up to heat and you don't need to worry about yeast or anything. Like I said, I'm no baker, but flatbread is easy and you can branch out from there per your tastes. Maybe it's like a tortilla or something?

I got the idea riffing off of kraft dinner without any milk and then started improvising with whey powder and extra butter, and then I was like

Forget about dough. Flatbread is the simplest thing because it's what dirty peasants make from the most primitive things like putting flour and water together so as to eat it. Start simple and then work up from there. Butter goes with bread. Eggs make it wholesome and :DDDD face. Put berries in it like flapjacks.

I miss this in my life.
Happily yes irl, I was outside talking to a friend. We were talking about cooking, soup as it happens and he brought up how the only thing he need for the soup was some cheese. I believe a certain type of hard cheese, akin to Paresan.
Well please excsue this shameless bump. I just miss having particularly uninteresting conversations about cheese.

I wish that, in these unenergetic latter years, I could call to mind an interesting cheese anecdote. Sadly ennui and lethargy have won their victory over my, now barely remembered, enthusiasm.

One memory did shyly, turtle peeking from undershell, emerge on dairy matters. It is to this which I address the following adumbration; to wit:

I was a boy and so I lived in the house of my parents.
This house was distant, relative to the extent of our small country, from the house of my grandfather. When he came to visit us, he had to make a longish train journey.

I was a big boy now, and was trusted to meet him at the railway station.

I bought a platform ticket, which entitles the bearer to go onto the railway platform. This was necessary to my mind because, if I were not there when my grandfather stepped out of the carriage, he might be lost forever, and me to blame.

But his stepping out is still in the future. I am reminiscing proleptically.

Waiting for his arrival gave me opportunity to survey the marvels provided for passengers and their awaiters.

A milk vending machine was there!
Right there on the platform!

Where anybody, even a young boy, could insert a coin without asking permission.

That milk, of the late nineteen-sixties, was the most delicious treat I ever tasted. Technology of that era extended to refrigeration so it was excellently cool.

If it had occurred to me that, a century later, important people on the electrotubes were interested in cheese, I might have spent another halfpenny and kept a pint for historical experiment.

I think it's the interesting and anecdote's, were you could be going wrong. Although my english is terrrible and anecdote could be the right word. I feel do interesting is wrong though.
Sadly I have not yet bought any feta cheese and feel bad. I may recortify this soon, I may not.
I will post an update if I do though.

Of the cheeses I have tried, I cannot say I like anything other than cheddar. To that, I enjoy a slice of mild or medium cheddar cheese with my black coffee in the morning. I might dip the cheese in, if the coffee is still hot enough and I feel adventurous, but for the most part the flavors are just complementary.

Some thread were posted a whie ago that were out of pace with this board some might of felt and so someone posted a thread about cheese just to bring things back down to the everyday things quite a lot of people do

I like reading post about other peoples cheese experiences and will post my own
For example, I still haven't brought any Feta cheese yet, although last week in a supermarket I did pick a block of Feta cheese up and look at it and check the price before putting it back on the shelf and contiuning my shopping

My posting is always alcohol fueled and almost never worth consideration.
I am not a citizen of this community, though I have been aware of it for a long time.

When I set out to be interesting I bore the britches off folk.
When I attempt uninteresting I find myself writing a snippet of autobiography.

My favorite cheeses are Gorgonzola and Dolcelatte. I have childish, unrefined tastes.
Melting Cheddar in a microwave produces an inferior result; much better to do it under a grill.

I went the local store to get some non-alcoholic drinks. I was looking at the very small selection, when a teenage student female said "Exquese me".
So I moved slightly to one side, saying "no worries", quitely. She took a small step forward and pick a bottle of peach ice tea off the shelf.
I could not remember the last time I had had ice tea and don't think I have ever had peach flavour. So I bought a bottle as well.
I know this has nothing to do with cheese, yet at the same time I hope you find this particular and equally uninteresting conversation. Has not been a waste of your time.
