Crack, or Meth. There's no way to tell.
I've smoked hash out of these pipes. You can also smoke DMT and stuff. Could be anything but most likely the first two.

Is there a way to tell, no, not less i was there and picked up and it was sweet mary jane. Although thats not to say it was not being used mutli-purposely. Not without a cheap testing kit.

It's not crack. Crack is smoked out of a pipe with no bowl like that.
You smoke whatever needs to be freebased. That is what is is called: Free basing.
It isn't vaporizing and it isn't smoking either. Some drugs (like meth) have a melting point and reaction at a certain temperature that can only be achieved at certain temperatures that you can not reach by straight putting flame to it, but, also by not outright vaporizing it and thus you have freebasing.

People, nominally, use it for meth, but, you can also freebase DMT and a number of other drugs.

both, theoretically crack pipes are different and this is a meth pipe, but you can smoke crack from a meth pipe and it'll work too, people refer to this kind of pipe interchangeably
