It was probably this old indie game called The Adventures of Bouapha: Spooky Castle. Played it a lot when I was a kid and it had zombie enemies. Earliest zombie-related thing I remember.

The first zombie movie I watched form start to finish was either Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, or Savini's Night of the Living Dead.
I can't remember the first time I've learned about the concept of zombies though.
