Update: Have been in the mood to write and figured out where I want the story to go from here. So that's good.

What's not good is that my laptop has shit the bed; hard drive is going bad, battery is going bad, and everything else needs an upgrade. It's an old computer and everything is at least a generation behind, if not more, and now hardware is starting to wear out.

At this point, it would be cheaper to just buy a whole new laptop than replace all the dying components in this one. Until I do so, I can't write any more of the story.

So look for an update to the story in two, three weeks if all goes well.

And if anyone is interested, the psycho bitch who fucking stabbed me with scissors just got put away for five years and is undergoing psychiatric evaluation. So there's that.
