Are you guys all american ?
See, I'm french. No, wait, don't pee at me, let me explain.
In this piece of shit of country, weapons are said as "murdering things" and "devilized" (I don't know if I can be understood on this word but I give it a try) as hell.
I can't understand this commie shit. Take a wrench and hit the head of someone with all you can give… The result will be the same as shooting someone right between the eyes. That's

9mm vs. .45
Hello /v/, first time poster here, my 21st D-day is coming up and I want my license to carry and conceal. I have my eyes on a snazzy Glock 21 chambered in the .45 but I only have experience in the lighter 9 mm round, so, I need to know, is the extra recoil very noticeable? I am a pretty big guy and can usually handle myself but is there a hugely noticeable difference in kick?

"Boring" but necessary
We all love the talk of stocking up on ammunition, magazines, back up firearms, back ups for our back ups, caches, etc, ad nauseum.
How many of us stock up on and maintain a supply of the "boring" wear items?
I recently basically built a "new" .30-06 Winchester Model of 1917, and in so doing I found out that a few parts had begun to wear in the last 100 years.
I replaced the Monte Carlo sporter stock with original wood furniture and all correct (not correct

Modification of an old firearm revolver
I need help to modify my revolver.
My grandfather died and left me a revolver that only shoots blanks, an Olimpic 6 cal .22, when I looked at the barrel, I saw that it only had a weld so that a real projectile would not be fired, the truth is that I know nothing about guns, but I have the feeling that the preventive measures for people not to modify their guns in the 70s or 80s were limited to plug the barrel a little, but I do not know (I know that my grandfather got it in the 80s).

Alternative weaponry?
I suddenly had the urge to think about alternative /w/eaponry.
Thinks like the tool on the left can be adapted into weapons. So, this thread will be all about the use of everyday items as weapons (I feel like an advertisement for some reason).
So, lets start taking about /w/eapons. In what ways could we adapt things like this needle scaler, or, say, a light bulb, into effective weapons?

,410 ammo?
So, Ill be frank.
I got a .410 for hunting/home defense back in '19.
Didn't have the time or sense to buy ammo as soon as I had it, and of course, I can't find shit but birdshot anywhere.
What are some reliable places you guys know of for slugs, or even reliable ways to MAKE them?
Want that sweet sweet animal meat without having to pick a dozen little pellets out of it.

The gun ban WILL happen, I guarantee you
With Brendan O’Rourke running in 2020, we’re starting to hear a lot more about gun control. Just for a little backstory, my great grandfather was actually a farmer, and I remember him talking to me about the days when you could walk into a hardware store and buy dynamite. Nowadays that’s unheard of. If you think the same won’t be done to guns, then you’re deluding yourselves.
Just listen to Harold Covington’s podcast he made shortly after Sandy Hook. He knew exactly what was going on and

Hello, /k/.
I'm in the process of building myself a cabin innawoods, and setting up a reasonably sustainable living space for myself. Right now, I still have a regular apartment and job, but I intend to eventually go full hermit in my cabin and avoid heading into town if at all possible.
What I need are incredibly durable and easy to strip/troubleshoot firearms. I don't care how pretty they are, and I'm willing to trade 'comfort' for 'indestructible

I'm thinking about buying a Taurus PT-111 G2 this black friday.
This'll be my first handgun, and it doesn't quite meet my criteria (seems like more of a concealed carry gun), but it's only 200 dollars.
If I were to get the kind of gun that I really want, such as a Springfield XD, it'd cost me at least 500. So for someone with no interest in concealed carry, would a CC gun like the Taurus PT-111 G2 be a good choice?

Custom single-shot design
Do we have any long-range enthusiasts here? I've looked into single-shot .50 BMG:s, and concluded most of them suck some major balls (from an engineering standpoint).
If they bother with a bullpup design, they use a full-length traditional bolt and end up with 2 pounds and 10 inches in "dead weight" anyways.
So, having dabbled in CNC machining, I said "fuck it" and decided to start designing my own. It's basically a scales-down PAK-38 design, with a slid

Wow
In the Philippines, there is a young Filipino who leads one of the most powerful ngos in the world, with millions of members, and have ties with leftists, socialists, muslims, and catholics, politicians and military personnel. Aside from the fact that two Filipinos students have created the Iloveyouvirus, this ngo and its leader have created some of the most powerful ciphers in the world: many of which were mentally calculated and which processes cannot be recorded even by the most advanced dron
