That abortion crap in USA is literally a gay nerd fight.

The "abortion" debate is essentially another punchline to add to the pile. The rightoids are desperate to avoid acknowledging how more and more people are increasingly being priced out of having kids, while shitlibs think "my body, my choice" means you can abort your kid, but you can't be a Hooters/grid girl or end your own life.

I really do not think this is a common position, that's just a few college age retards. Pretty much everyone I know supports assisted suicide.

>Pretty much everyone I know supports assisted suicide.

I mean suicide in general. If my body = my choice, then suicide prevention is invalid.

Well what else is there to support/oppose? Unless you're suggesting that saying "please don't do it you have so much to live for!!!" constitutes violating the principle. So long as you support it as a legal right, you're in the clear. You can still suggest people decline to utilize that right. And it is still acceptable to have some nuanced opinions, you can insist on there being a more fleshed out process for it in the same way that supporting abortion doesn't mean you have to think unlicensed coat hanger abortions should be legal.

Well, yeah, that's right, I am.

Why do you think voicing a suggestion to an individual violates an opinion about laws? Part of having a 'choice' is considering different views on it.

You misunderstand. I'm just saying "pro-choice" folks aren't actually living up to their chosen standard. Just like pro-life folks don't.

No I understand perfectly what you're saying. I think you're just demanding a standard of "consistency" that goes way beyond reason.

But before we go on, tell me what your actual opinion is about these things.

That's honestly how most "pro-lifers" in this part of the internet see it.

If, by pro-lifers, you mean contrarian faggots who are just desperate for attention, then yes.

>But before we go on, tell me what your actual opinion is about these things.

Sure: my opinion is that my body, my choice means suicide prevention is invalid. One should, if they so choose, should be allowed to CTB painlessly and in the comfort of their own home. I'm not just referring to euthanasia. I mean at any moment whatsoever. I am not myself suicidal, but if I were, I should be allowed to purchase the tools I need to leave this world, once my affairs are in order. But so many "pro-choice" people will quickly become pro-life if you told them my body, my choice should be absolute. And if you tell me it's a sin, so what? That'd be between me and whatever God, if any, exists.

Quantum TV is one of those who label themselves as pro-life yet they make anti-life statements. Even other pro-life squad were shocked to hear his statement

I had assumed this was a straw argument, demanding the other side take a really strong position that people would be compelled to reject. Claiming that telling a friend "please don't do it!" violates a pro-choice stance is just silly. You seem to have now backed off on that but that's what I had been responding to.

I also agree in a fundamental right to end your life, I just don't believe this includes the right to never hear someone ask you to voluntarily choose not to. If they aren't trying to prevent you with force (and voting for a law banning it constitutes force), they're still pro-choice. You can also be conventionally pro-choice with abortion as far as your opinion on laws but politely tell your pregnant friend that you think maybe they shouldn't actually go through with it.

It's important to make this clear since people do take this kind of bullshit to places that actually cause problems. Back when masks were a thing and I opposed them people would tell me that I was "anti-choice" for suggesting people take off their masks. No, that's not how that works. Unless I am trying to remove the right to make the choice from them, I am not anti-choice. I am simply advocating they voluntarily make one choice over another.
